LAND : this Chardonnay is the produce of only one plot located in the area of the Haut-Diois facing the south.
SOIL : Clay-limestone soil
GRAPE VARIETY : 80% Gamay, 10% Pinot Noir, 10% Syrah
WINE-MAKING METHOD : grapes harvested and selected exclusively by hand. The plots are carefully monitored for grape maturity in order to achieve the best picking time.
COLOUR : beautiful black cherry color with purple reflections.
IN-GLASS : cocoa, black fruit and spices hints.
IN-MOUTH : powerful and harmonious with smoothed out tannins.
DRINK IT WITH : This wine calls for an autumn cuisine : stir fry mushrooms, lentils soup with grilled bacon or a more sophisticated cuisine such as duck legs with foie gras to go well with the richness of the wine.
CONSUMPTION : Fully matured between 3 to 5 years old, this wine can be stored until 10 years old.
